Olive leaf extract

Olea europaea
Oleuropein an active ingredient of olive leaf extracts, can enhance the body's protection against viruses and bacteria and support the cardiovascular system. From as early as the 1800's, researchers had found rhat olive leaf extract from the olive tree, can be a powerful ally against the common cold, flu, yeast infections, skin, heart, joint problems, and high blood pressure.
It is recommended for use to stimulate the immune system; to help speed recovery from any virus, bacterial, yeast or parasital infections. It is also recommended as part of the natural treatment for chronic infections, such as chronic glandular fever and chronic fatigue syndrome.
Oleuropein has antioxidant activity of several flavonids that can aid in the reduction of peripheral vascular disease and coronary heart disease. .It also helps in lowering the blood pressure in cases of hypertension, it promotes vasodilation of the arteries, and helps increase energy levels.
It is also found that it can be used to treat some known herpes viruses, including Epstein-Barr.
