Horseradish

Cochlearia armoracia
This is a useful medicinal as well as a cosmetic herb. It helps to prevent indigestion, especially, after a heavy rich meal.
For coughs and bronchial cold, syrup made from this herb, is highly effective. Horseradish has long been associated with the relief of sinus congestion. When used in conjunction with garlic and other herbs, it is very effective in relieving sinusitis, runny nose, stuffy congestion and symptoms of hay fever.
A poultice of the herb can be used to relieve rheumatic joints pain and chilblains and aching muscles.
