Honeysuckle

Lonicera periclymenum
The honeysuckle plant was once worshiped by the ancient Greek; and later European herbalists used the juice, extracted from the plant to treat snake bites There are over 180 species of honeysuckle shrubs and climbers found throughout the Northern hemisphere.
This plant, often compared to echinacea, has antibacterial, antipyretic and diuretic properties. It is used to reduce fevers and inflammation .Honeycuckle also reduces blood pressure, increases perspiration, and relaxes spasms.
The flowers are taken internally to treat acute rheumatoid arthritis, conjunctivitis, upper respiratory tract infections, high fever, measles and chickenpox, gastroenteritis, food poisoning, urinary tract infections, mastitis and breast cancer, The stems of the plant can be used to treat hepatitis
The flowers are used as external application for infectious skin rashes, skin inflammation and sores.
